Vellafilm Dressings

Vellafilm® is a transparent Polyurethane film dressing with Silfix® soft silicone adhesion.The soft silicone will adhere to the surrounding dry skin but not to a moist wound thereby minimizing trauma assosiated with dressing change.The dressing is transparent allowing observation of the wound site and can be left in place for up to 7 days depending on the wound condition. Suitable for use on Surgical wounds and Superficial epithelialising wounds and particulary suitable for patients with fragile skin.
