Activheal

ActivHeal is a wound care dressing range that can be used for the management of both chronic and acute wounds. The range includes Alginate dressings, Aquafiber Ag, Activheal Aquafiber dressing, Aquafiber Extra & Hydrogel dressing. The Alginate Dressing is a sodium calcium dressing for mild to severely exuding wounds. At the same time, the Aquafiber Ag is a non-woven, sterile pad with mannuronic acid, calcium alginate, and carboxymethylcellulose. Aquafiber Dressing, which is highly absorbent, smooth, and comfortable, can be used on moderately and heavily exuding chronic and acute wounds. When this dressing comes into contact with wound exudate, it becomes a soft gel. It also serves as a haemostat, preventing minor bleeding from occurring in superficial wounds. The Aquafiber Extra Dressing is a carboxymethylcellulose and alginate dressing that transforms into a cohesive gel when it comes into contact with acute & chronic wound exudate. The Hydrogel dressing is an amorphous gel that can be applied to dried, necrotic, or sloughy wounds to hydrate them.
