Jelonet dressing is meticulously designed to provide a gentle, soothing environment for wounds during the healing process.
Brand: Jelonet dressing is a hallmark of excellence in wound care.
Type: Jelonet dressing is a non-medicated paraffin gauze dressing. Its non-adherent nature ensures that it won't stick to the wound, minimising pain and trauma during dressing changes.
Usage: Ideal for a variety of wounds, including burns, abrasions, and ulcers, Jelonet Dressing offers a protective layer that promotes a conducive healing environment. It is suitable for use in hospitals, clinics, or home care settings.
Ingredients: The dressing is composed of sterile leno-weave gauze impregnated with soft paraffin. This combination ensures a non-adherent, soothing application to support the healing process.

Directions for Use:
• Ensure hands are clean and dry before application.

• Apply the Jelonet dressing directly to the wound.
• Secure it in place with a suitable secondary dressing.
• Change the dressing regularly as per healthcare professional or clinician advice.
Storage: Store Jelonet Dress in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Ensure the packaging is intact before use. Follow the expiration date mentioned on the packaging for optimal efficacy.
Indications: Skin loss wounds, lacerations and abrasions. Leg ulcers. Minor burns and scalds. Donor and recipient skin graft sites.
Precautions: Although there are no absolute contra-indications to the use of Jelonet, if the dressing is placed upon a heavily exuding wound, its semi-occlusive nature may cause tissue maceration by preventing the free movement of exudate away from the surface of the wound. This is less likely to occur if a dressing bearing the lower loading of paraffin base is used.
