Compression Hosiery is a thin, long and elastic stocking to be worn around the leg, compressing the limb. These stockings are specially designed to put pressure on your leg muscles to prevent excessive pressure of blood around the region. Tightest at the ankles, the compression stockings become less constrictive toward the knees and thighs. The purpose is to rectify venous disorders by compressing the surface veins, arteries and muscles. Those suffering from chronic venous insufficiency, lymphedema, varicose veins can wear these stockings every day to improve circulation in the legs. Compression Hosiery is available in three different levels of compression, two lengths (Knee length or Thigh length), in up to 4 widths and three colours.

CLASS 1 provides light compression and should be used for superficial or early varicose veins and swollen ankles

Class 2 provides medium compression and should be used in medium severity varicose veins and mild oedema.

Class 3 provides strong compression and should be used for severe varicose veins and gross oedema.
