PROMOGRAN^™ Protease Modulating Matrix is a sterile, freeze dried composite of 45% oxidized regenerated cellulose (ORC) and 55% collagen.On contact with exudate the collagen and ORC matrix forms a gel that binds and neutralises the harmful proteases. It also protects the naturally occuring growth factors from being broken down by the proteases.Suitable for all wounds which are clear of necrotic tissue and infection including diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers and venous leg ulcers.
