Mepilex® Border Comfort is an innovative five-layer dressing that combines Flex Technology with Safetac®technology to create a dressing that stays on and is still gentle.Flex Technology creates greater conformability, and a dressing that is more flexible than comparable bordered foam dressings and a dressing that moves with the patient and stays on even in the shower.The five-layer dressing absorbs and traps exudate, keeping it away from the wound bed, and preventing re-entry, even under compression.
Mepilex Border Comfort can be used ona wide range of exuding wounds such as pressure ulcers, leg and foot ulcers, and traumatic wounds such as skin tears and surgical wounds.It can also be used on dry and or necrotic wounds in combination with gels.
