Hydrofilm Plus dressings are sterile, transparent, waterproof, and breathable dressings that provide a moist wound environment and protection against bacterial contamination. These dressings are composed of a polyurethane film coated with a hypoallergenic adhesive and a non-adherent wound pad.

Indications:

Directions for use:
- Cleanse the wound and surrounding skin with a suitable wound cleanser.
- Dry the skin around the wound.
- Remove the protective backing from the dressing.
- Apply the dressing to the wound, ensuring that the wound pad is in direct contact with the wound bed.
- Smooth the edges of the dressing to ensure good adhesion.
- Replace the dressing as needed, or at least every 3-5 days.
Storage:
Hydrofilm Plus dressings should be stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
Precautions:
- Do not use Hydrofilm Plus dressings on heavily exuding wounds.
- Do not use Hydrofilm Plus dressings on infected wounds.
- Do not use Hydrofilm Plus dressings on individuals with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the dressing.
- Hydrofilm Plusdressings are not suitable for use as a replacement for sutures or other primary wound closure methods.
- Hydrofilm Plus dressings should be used with caution on fragile skin, such as elderly or neonatal skin.

The expiry date for Hydrofilm Plus dressings is printed on the packaging and should be checked before use.
